TCS 2015 Batch IT Stream offered student - Batching Updates

All the above process described is applicable to IT Stream students alone.


We are excited as we are getting closer to on-boarding you into our family. As we are approaching a whole new Financial year that looks promising with immense opportunities, we look forward to you being part of this growth story. We are happy to inform you that we have a healthy business pipeline and would be on-boarding you in batches starting May 2015.

TCS continues to pioneer new trends in the Industry and Aspire, which is our pre-joining Learning Module, is one such initiative that aims to bring in a performance based on-boarding in a  transparent way. Aspire continues to be your opportunity and window to an early on-boarding in TCS and your scores on Aspire will decide when you join us.

For batches joining us in May, June and July alone, we may also have to take into account completion of your course and availability of the mandatory joining documents since the examination schedule is different across the country. It is very encouraging to see good progress in Aspire participation and are confident that you will continue to work on your scores for us to onboard you earlier !

We are also happy to announce that students who are batched would get to choose their preferred stream of technology, from the options available at that point based on business requirements of TCS. For the batches joining in May & June of 2015, the technology streams being offered will be Testing, BIPM, Java, MS.Net, Unix/C++ and Mainframe. The choice made by you will be considered when mapping you a particular stream.
Kindly note making a choice of stream is not a entitlement and the batching team reserves the right to map you any of the stream basis business requirements of TCS irrespective of the choice made.

The Aspire score as of 8:00 AM on the 4-April-15 will be considered for preparing the May 2015 joining list.

With the enforcement of this deadline quizzes on Aspire Modules will not be available. Access to the quizzes will be restored after completion of the batching process and you will be able to continue on your quizzes till the next cut off date of 18th April 2015. You will be updated on this through the Campus Commune notice board.

Coming to the reset functionality on IT stream Aspire Modules which will applicable to students who are not batched yet.

1) You can make use of the "Course Reset" Functionality that will be enabled once the batching process is completed for a particular deadline.

2) Reset Functionality will be available for technical courses on Aspire, Business Skills and Know Your TCS cannot be reset.

3) For you to be able to reset a technical course, you should have attempted at least one quiz of the course before the current deadline (4th April 2015)

4) Resetting a course is at your discretion and it is not mandatory. You can reset a course if you are keen on improving your score for the next batching.

Hello Friends, An information resource center (IRC) is a facility inside Tata Consultancy Services limited (TCS), staffed by a specialist, containing many information sources. It is established at all ILP center as well as base center for you. So, you don't need to take any books or notes from home with you. They will provide you all relevant books related to new technology as well as your courses.   Many novel will also be there. So, whenever you will get time, go there and study these materials.
