What is Language Lounge

We have just opened out Language Lounge to the 2015 batch and we would like you to read this blog before commencing on your Language Lounge journey.

1) Why is Language Lounge rolled out?

Language Lounge is a gamified learning platform that helps you improve your verbal ability. English is the primary mode of communication at TCS, and it is highly essential that your verbal ability complements your technical knowledge in order for you to communicate your ideas effectively. Language Lounge was conceptualized to help you understand the nuances of English language and use it in a professional context.

2) Getting started with Language Lounge?

As soon as you enter the platform for the first time, you are required to calibrate the Language Meter by entering your English scores in the fields provided. 
In case you do not have English Language based subjects in your graduation level courses you can reenter your class XII marks for graduation 
These marks are captured to create a baseline of your exhibited proficiency with English language and have no other significance.

Hello Friends, The job location is an important factor and we all keep this in mind at the very first while applying for a job. Our job life is much affected by the location where we do the job. Hello Friends, An information resource center (IRC) is a facility inside Tata Consultancy Services limited (TCS), staffed by a specialist, containing many information sources. It is established at all ILP center as well as base center for you. So, you don't need to take any books or notes from home with you. They will provide you all relevant books related to new technology as well as your courses.   Many novel will also be there. So, whenever you will get time, go there and study these materials.
