Second and Third day @ TCS

Hello Friends,

*** 2nd hectic day of Office ***

That day again, we entered first in auditorium. The first speech was from Mr.Gautham Reddy, Java HOD... He just looked like a ferocious spook, we were really sacred during that time ...were thinking that....if I will get java...and so on...but from then onward, I personally get in touched with him and came to know about his real great knowledge. Actually, before joining that ILP he was a trainer in IBM, and the most interesting thing is that he is not from Computer science background than Electrical field. Anyway, again we got our HR, he told about the basic architecture about salary and various allowances provided by TCS. On that day we got Rammana sir who told us about the system and the TCS internal basic security policy also the working process within TCS.

At afternoon, ILP co-coordinators came along with HR to told us the different allocated Learning Group with stream. I got the most luckily and sweetest LG HJA84, Java. Then most strict-ed and cool coordinator Ms. Pavani. After this, we had IRA2 exam which was very difficult. But the good thing was that there were no cutoff for that. This was just for differential batch. I mean, if someone qualified it, then he/she would release before 15 days to us. After IRA2, we again sat in auditorium. It was very boring to sitting in auditorium. That was the day, where we had to open out bank account (salary account). But, the worst thing of that session, was that TCS invited only one bank for us to open our bank account. We didn't have any other option for selecting the bank. They just gave us CITI bank option and we couldn't do any thing for that. So, I opened my account in CITI Bank. It was already 9:00 clock in the evening. Lastly I left out from office...

Meeting with skill leaders:-

On that day we met with our technical lead and biz skill mean business skill lead. On this topic it will be better to let you know people about that. Technical skill means the leader or mentor who taught us the technological things like java, asp.net, bipm, mainframe, unix etc. Whereas biz skill lead means who dealt with us about communication skills, gesture, writing skills, presentations skills and also how to motivate in the co-operate society. We met two great personality on that day from biz skill faculty arena...one is Mr. Sagar, who was the business skill trainer and second one was Ms. Neha, with whom we spent a great time during our ILP. She was very cool minded, smart, well behaved unique personality... that we liked most. So,on that day mainly introduction and basic course overview had been discussed in to leading fields. Mr. Sagar took our writing exam (WS) where we had to write on one topic from two option given by him. The time limit was 30-45 minutes for that. Id someone failed in that exam then he/she would be in remedial. The result announced after some days. That was the day, where our CR's chosen. Any one could participate. Then, he/she had to give his/her introduction. After all intro, we had to choose who would be our CR's. One CR from girls side and one CR from boys side chosen. CR's post was very hectic post because they had to contact all faculties, coordinator and all. This was the last hectic day during all days. That day, we also got our Java basic modules on TCSion. Now, we had separate classroom for us i.e. 7 Lab 5. Everyone got a system. Now, our daily job was to open our system and had to study that material on TCSion. Everyday was like that from 2:15 PM to 9:00 PM.
