First Day @ TCS

*** First day in TCS ***

I got up too earlier because our reporting was at 7:30 AM. I, along with my those friends reached TCS ILP center at Q-city. Whole road were filled by only TCS employees. Everyone was running on the road with their documents bag. First day, really was a meaningful day with full sleeve shirt, closing collar button with tied up, formal pant, polished shoes...! After reaching Qcity main gate, we were in a queue. There were some security guards who were checking our joining letter and one id card. After showing our joining letter and personal id card, we entered into the giant building QCity. By taking the elevator we reached at 7th floor, because 7th and 8th were for TCS in that building. One security guard issued our temporary id card to enter into the auditorium. We were all total 360 employees from different states with multicultural harmony like Andhra Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Mumbai, West Bengal, Bihar, Chattisgarh, Jharkhand, Odisha. Although in entire arena at TCS Q-city every state people were there.

However,one of the ILP co-ordinator by the name Deepak along with Naveen came and delivered basic speech about ILP Hyderabad and we came to know we are the Hyd-19 batch. Then our HR Ms. Sarah came and delivered a long and very positive speech. We got our TCS Id-card on that day by exchanging the temporary one who uploaded their photo on the next step portal. Those who didn't upload his photo on next step portal, they had to go BMS room. A person in that room, was clicking our photo. Then our ISU head Mr.Arvind Srikrishnanan came and gave a long speech to us. At around afternoon we got our ILP-Hyderabad head Mr. Gowtham Reddy ,really really really awesome... His voice, clarity and spoken english also with body language motivation...!!!

At 2 p.m. (after lunch) we sat for our IRA1 exam. I scored 77.5 marks out of 100 in IRA1. There were a cutoff score for IRA1 i.e. 55. If some one score less then 55 then he/she would be rescheduled. In my batch, there are 6 persons who could not score more then 55. Hence, they rescheduled. If someone scored 52.5 marks then he/she will get another chance after some days. After 3 p.m., my documents (Service agreement paper, Non criminal affidavit, all mark sheets along with certificate from class 10th to B.tech, medical certificate, PAN, EC card, Passport, NSR card and the main surety documents and form / land property certificate or affidavit / fixed deposit certificate) verification had been done. After this, we sat in auditorium again. Then every faculty came and introduced themselves. Ultimately, at around 9:00 PM, I left the office and took dinner in QCity cafeteria... Food was okay okay type at subsidy rate. We had to pay 45-50 rs for one time diet. In one plate, they provide 2 roti/puri, 2-3 vegetables, very good amount of rice, papad, salad, curd/raita, 1 sweet.  

After this, I came back at my accommodation. This was very hectic day. On 2nd day, we had to go at same time in the morning.

Hello everyone, You all must be waiting for the joining date. Those who have got their joining letters, are happy and much excited about what would happen on the first day. There would be feelings mixed with nervousness too. As the name... IRA .. How to do resign TCS (TCS resignation formality)

Hello Friends, *** Resigning TCS formally *** The hectic documentation process you did during your joining, should be reversed over here too (Sadly, its not over yet). You have to find the person to contact for Resignation.  Login to your Ultimatix account,  go to  HR Managemement->  Employee Self Service->  Workflow.  You will get the name and email id of the person to contact for the same. Put in a mail to the person, and he will get back to you soon via phone and email to redirect you to the further procedures (Make sure you include your phone number in the mail). After getting the details of the new person, go and meet him/her.  There are two important things to keep in mind before release-  A month's prior notice, or else you will have to pay the basic pay of the rest of days. i.e., for example you want to leave the company on Aug 10, and you inform it at the beginning of the month(Aug 1).
