Congratulations on being offered by TCS and welcome to the Pre – ILP Engagement on Campus Commune.

We at TCS strongly believe in an individual's ability to create wonders and drive innovations. But we have also observed that many students didn't have a proper channel to express their ideas, clarify their doubts, get feedback, or connect with experts and peers.

In an effort to ensure that no candidates are left out because of the lack of a means to express themselves, and as a means to validate our belief that every individual is a special human being with an ability to transform the company, we have come up with an integrated social space called Campus Commune. We expect all the candidates to start discussions, post blogs, solicit opinions and make full use of this platform in a responsible way to have a great Pre-ILP experience.

You have also been given access to a learning platform called Aspire. Aspire is a gamified learning platform that contains several courses which are the prerequisites for any candidate to join the Initial Learning Program. Your degree of readiness to ILP is determined by your performance in Aspire. The Aspire module for IT stream mapped students currently has the first two courses (Introduction to Computers and Know Your TCS) open.

It is extremely important for all candidates to have a strong verbal ability along with a firm grasp of technical knowledge in order to be industry-ready. To meet that requirement, we have introduced a highly versatile construct called Language Lounge. The Language Lounge module will be made available to you shortly.

In order to launch Campus Commune, please log in to the NextStep portal and click on the Launch Campus Commune button on that page.

To get started with the Aspire, launch Campus Commune and click on the Aspire button towards the right-hand side of the page. When you launch the Aspire course for the first time you will have to take up a simple quiz to unlock the course modules. Your score in these modules will be one of the factors that go into the batching sequence. So, it is recommended that you start your Aspire course as soon as possible and get a good score for an earlier joining.

TCS expects all its offered students to take Aspire and Tech Lounge seriously and complete it in a fair and honest manner. Your knowledge on Aspire and Tech Lounge will be measured after joining TCS through an Initial Readiness Assessment (IRA).

Adoption of any unfair means to complete Aspire will have an adverse impact on your joining and your career with TCS.

Another important step in your pre-ILP journey would be completing your profile information. Click on the "My Profile" link on Campus Commune to launch the newly designed profile page. Fill up all the details accurately and keep your profile constantly updated. This is an important means by which we get to know you a lot better.

Hello everyone, You all must be waiting for the joining date. Those who have got their joining letters, are happy and much excited about what would happen on the first day. There would be feelings mixed with nervousness too. As the name... IRA .. IRA. ..is bothering you...but you need not worry because I am going to share with you all the things about IRA .  What exactly is the IRA? It's a kind of exam... Initial Readiness Assessment to test your readiness for the Initial Learning Program . Right after some days of your placement, you all have to take the Aspire course which is a mandatory online course conducted by TCS. How to do resign TCS (TCS resignation formality)

Hello Friends, *** Resigning TCS formally *** The hectic documentation process you did during your joining, should be reversed over here too (Sadly, its not over yet). You have to find the person to contact for Resignation.  Login to your Ultimatix account,  go to  HR Managemement->  Employee Self Service->  Workflow.  You will get the name and email id of the person to contact for the same. Put in a mail to the person, and he will get back to you soon via phone and email to redirect you to the further procedures (Make sure you include your phone number in the mail). After getting the details of the new person, go and meet him/her.  There are two important things to keep in mind before release-  A month's prior notice, or else you will have to pay the basic pay of the rest of days. i.e., for example you want to leave the company on Aug 10, and you inform it at the beginning of the month(Aug 1).
